I forgot to mention the obvoius ;-)

Unfortunately that doesn't change to flac-files for me.

What LMS version are you running? What exact build (see
    Settings/Information in the web UI)?

In case you are connecting to mysb.com directly: please test again. Thanks!

Is indeed connecting to mysb.com directly. Tested: Result OK - I am now receiving FLAC from Tidal.

BTW - I did check out Bluesound Node2 in the meantime. I could find myself having a hard time going back to the Touch. In my ears the analogue out from the Node2 is superior to the Touch.

    Superior, or just slightly louder?

Definately louder, but still I find the stereo perspective more tidy, and I find myself being able to tell instruments apart more easily (e.g. Daft Punks Giorgio by Moroder at about 8 mins). I do prefer what I find to be a less aggressive sound. What the Bluesound misses is a bit of crisp air surrounding the vocal on acoustic arrangements.

I run the signal through MF M1-HPA and M1-PWR monoblocks to Tannoy Precision 6.4. I pick up the sound with well used non-linear ears, and am fine with disagreeing on the matter and choice of words in my last mail :-)

Happy to disagree on the matter, but have to point out that a minor level difference could explain all your observations.
