Can somebody please enlight me how to install it on my Squeezebox? I cant see it in my app list of the device, also not in 3rd party apps.

The Squeezebox server is installed on my DS214se NAS. The version is 7.7.6-113.

Can somebody please send me a step by step "how to"? I would be very happy!

Just from reading the specs I think this _should_ work.

Logitech Media Server 7.9.0 is out!

I'd just like to add my thanks to Michael for keeping on with maintaining LMS. I have just installed 7.9 on my Windows Home Server (I was previously on 7.8), and its working perfectly. And yes, rescans are significantly quicker.

I have two Squeezeboxes, two Booms and a Radio, all driven from the Windows Home Server.

One observation. I also have LMS 7.9 installed on by Win 10 machine with a copy of the library. (Yes - I do run a test on this before committing it to the Home Server.) Most of the time I don't have any players connected, and I notice that the main menu in the web interface has extra options when I start the server - "Random Albums", "Top Tracks", "Flop Tracks" and "Disks and folders". If I connect a player, such as SqueezePlay, and refresh, these four items disappear. This is odd, but not any problem at all, I just mention it in case it is a symptom of something.

    Thanks again.

These menu items are a per player option in LMS > Settings > Additional Browse Modes.

Yeah, that behaviour can be confusing: those are new menu options
provided by the "Additional Browse Modes" plugin. By default most of
them are disabled. If you're interested in any of those options, go to
    Settings/Player/Additional Browse Modes.

Ah - thanks. They must default to all on if no player at all is connected, but default to something much the same as I was used to for all actual players. I'd found the additional browser settings, but not the per player additional browser settings. I sometimes use a local LMS with no player connected if I want to run a database query (Erland plug-in), my main PC being SO much quicker than my home server, which is why I'd noticed this. :-)

Thanks again for all your efforts.
