    Help with Jivelite Skin

I'm a total noob when it comes to this so advice would be appreciated

I'm trying to get Jivelite via Picoreplayer working on a screen with the following specs 6.5-inch 16:9 ratio color LCD screen with 400x240 resolution

I've currently got the HDMI output connected to a Composite converter and am using the HD Grid Skin, This displays pretty well but I have 2 problems

    1. Font Size needs to be bigger
    2. its seems the screen bezel obscures the edges of the screen, so I need to move the icon positioning. I had considered whether this is an overscan issue but overscan needs to be disabled for the HD Grid SKin to work.

Any pointers as to what needs changing the skin LUA file would be great or even a link to somethinbg that documents the LUA structure as I'm struggling to find anything

    thanks in advance

Are you running the HDGridSkin on a 400x240 display?!? That skin is
considered to be running in full HD (1920x1080). I'd rather try the
PiGridSkin or JogglerSkin - which are designed to be used in 800x480 on
the 7" Pi or Joggler display - exactly same ratio, similar size.

    Which font? All of them?

Are you familiar editing code? These skins are text files of about 3500
lines... and you'll have to find where the sizes for the various
elements are defined. It's a lot of manual work... Start by searching
    for "font".

You better spend another hour or two trying to figure out whether you
can't handle this in the display control somewhere somehow. Because if
you have to adjust a skin to give room everywhere, you'll likely spend
    many times more hours...

Unfortunately there's little structure in those files. It's a rather
    tedious job, that's for sure.

    thanks Michael,

looks like the issue with overscan is that Jivelite won't take any notice of overscan settings if using HDMI as the output. Oddly if I use native composite overscan works

your right in that the Joggler skin fits better, having tried your 800x640 Grid Skin thats working well.

You mentioned PI Grid Skin, I can't find that?

The "Grid Skin" internally is called PiGridSkin (as I first created it
    for the original Pi display)

I'm not sure you want to increase the size: as the text does not wrap,
you'd likely end up with lots of truncated icon titles.
