    Deezer is not working anymore

    Today Deezer was not working on my Squeezebox anymore. I just get "503 service temporarily unavailable". But everything is fine with the Deezer App on the Smartphone.

    503 often is the result of hitting a server too hard. Are you using LMS
    or mysb.com directly?

    Oh, and as the message says this should be temporary. Does it still not work?

    It's working again today. I was afraid that it could be similar to the Napster Problem a few years ago. It took a few weeks until Napster could be used again.

    Right now I'm using Deezer with mysb.com directly. I will Check with LMS this evening.

    Strange Deezer UI in LMS

    I started using Deezer recently (free version so far) but suddenly today the UI in LMS changed and I could not see anymore my playlist and what I used to see. I run LMS locally, but still connected to mysqueezebox.com - Sorry for the dumb question, but any idea what's causing that? Is it that it cannot connect to my SN account?

    Trial period is over? That "smart radio" menu is what you would get
    using a non-premium account.

    I don't think so as I registered less than 30 days ago. And at the same time, all my apps from SN have disapeared, including Spotify and the Podcasts as well and, in server.log, I have a lot of

    [17-02-14 10:28:37.9412] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::Players::_player s_error (334) Unable to get players from SN: 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable, retrying in 1814400 seconds

    So I'm wondering if there is something wrong there. I'm still able to access SN from any web browser and use my account

    Oh, that one.
    Please search the Forum for "Service temporarily not available ". There are some proposals from Michael to sort this out. And he even updated LMS some days ago to better avoid that stalling of LMS.
    I don't recall the most, but I know that message was reported several times.

    That means that something in your LMS went crazy and started to hammer
    mysb.com with an insane number of login requests.... are you running the
    very latest 7.9?

    The best way out is to shut down LMS, leave it off for a long while (an
    hour or more) to let the counter on the load-balancer expire. Then
    restart. You best do this over night.

    This should not happen, and I have no clue why and when it happens. I
    only know that it happens, and that it has caused us major headaches in
    the past. Some LMS instances would have tried to login several times per
    second for a day or more... Now we have the load-balancer reject such
    requests. But it can hurt the user.

    I hoped to have enough checks in LMS in place to make sure this doesn't
    happen any more. But quite obviously I'm not done yet :-(.

    Thanks Mickael - I still have 7.7.5 but it has been acting weird for the past 2 days (it happens from time to time and drives me crazy). By weird I mean suddenly all players disappear, playback does not start after 10 seconds, or stops randomly, server.log is full of player timeout, my radios loose connection (red Wifi icon) and only power cycle get them back ... It happens like once/twice a year, last a few days and it's gone. I've had changed home, network, routers, ISP, computers ... in fact I might be the only piece not new in all that and that still happens (which drives me to a scary conclusion . I know this does not sound very scientific, but I've tried everything and could never ever figure out. I've tried to organize all sort of logical, step by step test to identify the culprit, never find out why. Anyway, it might be as well one of these events. I have now shut it off and I'll leave it like that for a today

    [edit]: after a few hours with LMS off, all SN apps are now back
