    The problem appears to be in Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP
    Code:
    [17-07-22 11:23:59.1358] Slim::Networking::SimpleAsyncHTTP::_createHTTPRequest (110) GETing https://www.francebleu.fr/s3/cruiser-production/2017/06/78513dba-8c0e-49c3-bdf9-13a04833c1ef/400x400_rf_omm_0001539964_dnc.0069795301.jpg

    [17-07-22 11:23:59.6802] Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP::_http_read (326) Headers read. code: 503 status: www.francebleu.fr:443is not a valid Host.
    It is recognizing that the request is https and so puts port 443 on the end of the hostname in the http header but then things go wrong.
    Not worked out why yet.
    If the issue was that there is no SSL support in LMS then should have printed error saying:
    Async::HTTP: Unable to load IO::Socket::SSL, will try connecting to SSL servers in non-SSL mode
    which it does not appear to do.

    Paul thanks for looking further. At one point I didn't have SSL support on the Pi, or LMS - but I installed all of that as part of getting the NPR podcasts and livestream working. I wonder how long FIP have been using SSL URLs - that maybe why this all worked previously and just that I have to have it set to LMS resize due to support for PiCore. If you need me to do anything let me know

    Yes, FIP were not always using https.
    For some stations I found two sources of artwork.
    One was usually not https and the other was always https.
    The 2nd was more reliable in providing images.
    In the old code I had it configurable to choose only the first source or try both ... but in the current it always tried both.

    Paul, Dean_Bayliss,

    could you please tell me whether you can reproduce this issue with the
    latest nightly builds? I tried a few of the stations I found in this
    thread, and they would show artwork just fine (using internal image proxy).

    If you can't get it to work with the latest 7.9.1 and IO::Socket::SSL
    confirmed, please let me know what station URL you're using.

    Thanks for looking Michael.

    Am away at the moment but have an old pCP here with me (3.11).
    Have just updated LMS to v7.9.1, 1501668375, Wed Aug 2 10:17:42 UTC 2017) perl 5.024000
    and set it to not use MySqueeze ... and artwork is working fine for FIP stations.

    I can see from logs (enabled Debug on async http) that local LMS is fetching the artwork over https without a problem - and can see it displaying fine on Joggler (JiveLite).

    What I should have done, of course, was repeat the problem on this installation before upgrading (from 7.9.0).

    Are you saying the latest 7.9.1 is working as expected?

    Yes - but isn't quite the same set-up as at home and I did not try to repeat the issue here (where I am now ... away from home) before moving to 7.9.1 latest.
    So I'll try again when I get back.

    I was on: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1493198727 @ Wed Apr 26 09:48:43 UTC 2017, which could not display the album art

    now on : Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1501668375 @ Wed Aug 2 10:28:57 UTC 2017, which is working ..perfectly... Brilliant

    Thank you so much!!

    These stations are brilliant, Groove, Jazz, Rock and the FIP original. The Cinema programme on a Wednesday is interesting stringing audio and film clips together for a particular theme. Made so much better with the album art courtesy of you both. Thanks

    Good celebrity endorsement for FIP from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey @jack
    He tweeted this yesterday
    Best radio in the world: @fipradio. Always perfectly tuned in.
