How to clean out all former favorites etc. on second hand unit?

    Dear boom experts,
Just recently I acquired a SB Boom, just to use for internet radio use. The thing is riddled with a myriad of stations in all possible categories and I would love to "clean it out" so I can start with a clean slate.
How can I possibly do this? Thanks ever so much for your help, and as a P.S. I'm not a computer-wise person, so please consider me a dummy in that respect...

The Boom doesn't store any favourites or radio stations, these are stored on the server it is connected to.

Have you opened an account at mysqueezebox.com? You need to do this and connect your Boom to it's servers. http://mysqueezebox.com/index/Home

The previous owner needs to delete your Boom from his mysqueezebox.com account, has he/she done this?

Or you can run Logitech Media Server (LMS) on a computer/laptop/NAS/Rasperry Pi etc., and connect to that.
Server - LMS 7.9.1 > Raspberry Pi3/piCorePlayer 3.21, 25K library on a network drive, cache and playlists on a USB stick.
    Lounge - RPi 2/Max2Play > HiFiBerry DIGI+ > AudioEngine DAC1 > AVI DM5
    Study - RPi 3/piCorePlayer 3.21 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > CA Minx 5
    Dining Room - Boom
    Garage - RPi3/piCorePlayer 3.02 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > Sharp micro system
    In car - LMS 7.9.1 > RPi3/Max2Play/Access Point plugin > HiFiBerry DAC+ > car's hifi (files on a 2TB portable USB drive)
    Spares - 1xTouch, 1xSB3, 1xRadio

The previous owner should delete it from his account. Or PM me the
device's MAC address, and I'll take care of it.

Thanks ever so much, Michael! Account is established now. However I can't find a way to "see"all the pre-installed stations.
So how to get to the list of all earlier installed stations ( by the former owner) to remove them?

If I've deleted the player from the database, then all those stations
are gone. They were linked to the previous owner.

Now I'm (for the time being..) left with 1 problem: There's this great jazz station (French) which is called "play misty for me"me. The URL is http://www.playmisty4.me/. When I put that in my address bar on the computer I get immediate connection.
When I put the url in the account page in the add-on position, it does'nt work. Have tried it on the box to no avail.
Here in Europe it's on shoutcast, and possibly others. Shoutcast is active in the SB says my account.
So why can't I get it on the SB Boom? Or rather: What am I doing wrong?

Yes thats an adress to a website , not to the actual radiostream ... (the website has a bunch of embedded players ...

It's a Radionomy channel so search at radionomys homepage and you get

    http://listen.radionomy.com/play-misty-for-me.m3u : this plays fine .

There is a tab at the left for each station that gives a link that works in mediaplayers

    https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/p...y-for-me/index

Btw squeezebox has a Radionomy app too

Finally found it. Installed radionomy, pasted the link on the designated space on the favorites page of my account, but got a "warning"pop-up that warned about non-regular compatibility. Strange.
Also it registered the station as being a "Title"...Then went to Shoutcast and lo and behold I found the station in the huge listing of "all jazz stations"! Hereafter I looked at the url that had been stored on the account page. Wow, that was extremely long, filling the whole space. Thanks for your help, it did give me good advice and incentive to look under different streamimg url's! Still awkward that my Philips internet radio, when given:
"play misty for me" immediately comes up with the station....
Anyway, it's the end result that counts. Happy with the result
