    I have the same problem.
    I've got myself a 2nd hand Touch, did a factory reset, upgraded to FW 7.8.0 r16754 and could register it under my own mysqueezebox.com account. However, the Spotify app on mysqueezebox.com shows a different account, presumably that of the previous owner.

    Michael, what info do you need to check and hopefully fix this?

    If it's only about the Spotify account, delete and recreate it with your own credentials.

    You're confusing me. Didn't you get in touch with me about a SB3 a few
    days ago? PM me your device's MAC address. As you did for the SB3.

    OK, I should have given more info. It's the same problem as the OP describes. Multiple squeezeboxes registered in mysqueezebox.com: two SB3 and one Touch. The SB3s show my own spotify account, the Touch (which I bought 2nd hand) shows a different account. See picture below.

    @karlek: Deleting the spotify account and then re-inserting it does not fix the problem.

    @mherger: no intention to confuse you. I indeed contacted you about a SB3 some days ago. This is a different issue.
    I will send you the MAC address of the Touch which shows a different spotify account. BTW, thanks for your efforts, much appreciated!

    Try the following:
    On the Touch choose Spotify
    Scroll down to the bottom
    Enter account menu
    Delete the wrong account
    Add your own

    Did that work?

    Funny enough, the Touch - while being connected to mysqueezebox.com - shows my own Spotify account while mysqueezebox.com (accessed from a web browser) still shows the other account.

    Then try to delete that Touch from your mysbc account. It should come back. (But I don know under what circumstances. )

    I've sent the Touch's MAC address to Michael and he did some magic. It's fixed now. Thank you, Michael

    I'm wondering: was it something I could have set right by myself?

    Not sure. I'll have to investigate this issue, which has only cropped up
    recently. I've only seen two or three of these cases. Was this a
    second-hand unit?
