Mac and Windows version are up!

Note that I have only been able to test the Windows version as I don't have a Mac. Would be interested to hear of anybody having success with the Mac version.

The same repo is hosted over http and https, some users were having trouble with the https link - thanks for picking this up nimnul.

I'm not sure why this is, and it was never a problem on the 2 linux servers I tested on, only when I got to Windows. I'll try and figure it out since we are trying to move the whole web to https.

I've installed it on a Mac and successfully set up three Spotify family accounts. Excellent - well done. Now if you can get Don't Stop The Music to work as well, that would be brilliant!

    Cheers

I've just checked this again and can happily report the Don't Stop The Music does work with the family accounts. For some unknown reason, DSTM was switched off. I'm sure it was on before I set up the plugin ...

Now it's perfect. Thanks for a great plugin.

No more Tay Tay on my Spotify history ! ....and fixes my sync'ing using spotify also.

    Great work Zed.. !

Would be good if the SpotifyFamily1/2/3.. names could take the name of the logged in spotify user in the sqzbox menu auto-magically.

I have piCoreplay installed on a PI 3 running LMS and to the life of me I can not get the family Spotify plugin to let me set up multiple Spotify accounts.

Configuration is a PI3 with LMS streaming to a Hifiberry digi+ card and also feeding a squeezebox touch.

I have the spotifyfamily4 plugin installed. The official Spotify plugin and triod's 3rd party spotify plugin are uninstalled.

Going to advanced in the LMS setup page and selecting spotifyfamily4 from the pull down on the left just gives me the standard, one user and one password page - the usual one for just the triod single user spotify plugin.

I'm at a loss to find the page to input my other family members' login details. Where can I find the right page please?

    spotifyfamily

I think you need to install spotifyfamily1 thru spotifyfamily4. One for each family member.

    Slow loading of songs/playlists

    Hi!

First, thanks for simplifying the lives of Spotify users with families! :-)
    Secondly, the problem:
I have two accounts, thus using SpotifyFamily1 and Spotifyfamily2 plugins.
The first account is a standard username/password account and the other one is a Facebook account login where I got a special password generated to be used in applications like this.
Both accounts work through the Squeezeboxes/iPeng but the Facebook account is so slow in fetching the playlists and songs that it is almost unusable.

Do you have any ideas what could cause differences in response times towards Spotify?

I would like to know this as well?

    Hi
I've just setup the family plugin.
Spotify family 1 = my account is logged. I can access to TOp100, what's new, my playlists...) but my library (favorite artist, album...) won't synchronise ?
So far I was using the official spotify plugin and everything was synchronising..

    Any idea ?
    Thanks
