Artist name & song title played by radio stations are not in Cyrillic

    Firmware: 7.7.3 r16676
    LMS: 7.7.5

Unable to see Cyrillic artist name & song titles played by radio stations. Changing interface language to Russian doesnĺt resolve the issue. On the other hand, songs metadata from my storage (flac etc.) are displayed correctly.
Did I miss anything? (see attachments)

    Thanks,
    Sergey

Could you please give us an example URL of one such station?

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for the prompt reply!
Sure. Those are radio stations available from TuneIn: Radio>Local>Stations...
Here is the copy of my favorites:

So is this just encoding problem or missing fonts? (Might be encoding, I guess)

I thought it was a font problem. But then you say that information from
your flacs does display correctly? Is this true for Cyrillic titles, too?

    Yes, Michael, that's correct.
All my FLAC metadata in utf-8.

Which means, that the issue is in non-UTF-8 metadata from radio streaming (basically mp3).
Is there any chance to set up Squeezebox Touch to identify streaming metadata encoding (might be in koi8-r or cp1251) and display it correctly on the fly?

Now I found the root cause:
    Source encoding = CP1251 (WINDOWS-1251)
    Displayed in ISO-8859-15

What kind of a solution is possible here?

I can confirm that by forcing decoding from cp1251 the characters would
display correctly. As to what possible solution - I don't know yet...

Perhaps including a call to Mozilla Universal Character Set Detector would bring back info about which charset is being used.

BTW: what's your Windows' language setting (see Settings/Information in
    LMS)?
