    Spotify to Remote Squeezelite instance

    Hi,
I am going to be workring away from home for a while and I've taken with me an RPi to set up as a Plex/Squeezelite client to connect to my home network remotely.

I've managed to set up Squeezelite. I've started forwarding ports 9000 and 3483 from my router to the server and this allows iPeng, local music and BBC iPlayer to work peerfectly fine.

The remaining issue is Spotify (the standard helper). No music plays when I start it, even though LMS shows the progress.

I have forwarded the spotify helper port 9005, the remote player is properly registered at mysb.com. Here is a copy of the spotify helper log when I tried to play something:

    Code:

    Hi,

Maybe I've missed it somewhere in this huge thread.
I have a Synology NAS running LMS 7.7.6 and a couple of Raspberry Pis running piCorePLayer.
I have installed the Spotify app on mysqueezebox.com and activated all my Pis (also "show on startpage" - not sure what this does?).
I have installed both the official Spotify plugin and the Spotify Protocol Handler.
It works great when going through WebGUI for my LMS - I can stream to my players, but I can't see any of my players in the Spotify app. Shouldn't I be able to do that?

    Thanks in advance

No, unfortunately that's not an option.

Crap. So it's only possible to control Spotify through the LMS WebGUI?

No, any SB interface can do it. On device, mobile app, web UI etc.

I have, in fact I have uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled it a few times

Since I didn't change anything I would'nt except add a new player or updating the server software would effect this.
