Connect OLED display to your piCorePlayer box.
    Hi All!

I’ve bought a small OLED display and I wrote a program which is show the most important stream information on it.
I would be happy if someone try it (and like it)

You can find more information, the source code and the binary on the github: (http://github.com/kabavol/LMSMonitor)

    Regards

I thought you may want to see the implementation in an old Quad FM4. The chassis is off ebay from a damaged unit, inside I've installed a keyboard driver board which means the preset buttons on the front switch to the stored radio stations, the tune knob acts as a rotary encoder but I cheated and used a mouse wheel, so both access the Pi via usb. PiCore on Raspberry Pi, with Hifi Berry digital SPDIF and HDMI picture to the TV. Unit in use with Laszlo's OLED added via I2C.

    Very nice!

Hi, how the display is connected to RPi, SPI or I2C. Can bigger displays be used with the module? Can you provide a diagram for display connection.? Thanks.

    Hi,
I have an oled that works, same type as yours, I have followed the instructions but can get it to display.

one of the things i'm not sure about is you mention options but I cant find them, where do the they live?
and do I have to change something first in options before the screen will work.

    Best Wishes

Hmm, there seems to be something wrong with either the github repo or the latest version of PCP...

When I download the file from github and try to unpack it I get an error:
    tar: invalid tar magic

MD5 seems to be wrong, I guess.
Did you get the files working recently?
    Best regards,
    Tom

    Pre-compiled files

    Hi

Sorry just seen this. You could try kabavol the developer, but the files still download for me. Try the most recent branch.

    https://github.com/kabavol/LMSMonitor/tree/dev_v03

I did provide some more details via PM on connection method. If you are still stuck let me know on the private message and I'll see how I can help
