    [Announce] WiMP becomes Tidal

It's probably no news to any WiMP user that their service has moved on
and become Tidal. Now we're getting there, too. We've replaced our WiMP
app with a new Tidal app! It comes with a lot of new features, better
discovery modes and lossless streaming, of course.

Existing WiMP users should not need to change anything about their
Squeezebox configuration. They should automatically get the updated app.

Will other countries get access to Tidal on Squeezebox, too? YES! We'll
be ironing out small issues with the existing users before we open up to
the rest of the world. But we hope to be ready within the next few days.

    Enjoy!

    Hi Michael.

Just wanted to let you know that WIMP automatically is TIDAL now. In addition, it is playing fine, so no problems on my end with this transition.
    Country=Denmark.

just a second... NO. It's there. Ok, its the third or forth line of this
massive blurb. But it's there :-).

Yes works fine for me too ...... Suddenly there was a Tidal logo instead of Wimp. And it works perfectly. Also with Smartmix

I was a Little too quick about the Smart mix. It seems that it does not add tracks from Tidal. Only from my own library. In smartmix options you can only tick "wimp". I don't know if thats the problem.

Great news! Only thing I miss at the moment is the EP/Singles category, but I am sure that is on its way :-)

    CountryCode parameter missing

    Hi,

Tidal has replaced Wimp on our sqeezeboxes here in Norway as well. But even after updating software version and turning on and off, I still cannot play anything. On "Utvalgte" (Chosen?), Genres and Moods I only get the message CountryCode parameter missing. On the other Choices I get No hits.

In my Tidal profile there is no Country code parameter, so I'm obviously looking for a way to have this country code registered. Anyone who knows how to solve this?
