    Hi Philippe,

Thanks for taking the time to answer - and we do understand that you of course also are engaged with other things.
    Thanks for reminding me.
Anyway, I rebooted the NAS completely and LMS came back online. So now it's running again.

Together we'll await a new release from Google.
Keep up the good work :-)

I have a chromecast (video) running firmware 1.25.90308. I get just noise running pcm, and nothing at all with flc, mp3 or aac. My server firewall is temporarily off.

I must be doing something daft, but what?

With flc I get nothing at all - no attempt to play:

What's interesting is that you have a FW version that is not even listed in the preview options https://support.google.com/chromecas..._topic=3447927 and this version is the one supposed to solve the horrible bug they introduced a few month ago that forced me to go a unelegant workaround

Very strange. I double-checked that I hadn't misread the version umber, and I hadn't. I am in the preview program for GB, but as you say this version isn't listed.

I don't know why the C-3PO plugin interfered with this and the UPnP plugins, but I only used it a couple of times out of interest, so it's no great loss to me. I was testing chromecast to my TV partly to test whether I could listen to my music via a bluetooth headset paired with the TV in my lounge, and it works, giving me another listening option. Thanks again for all your work.

    Version 0.2.9.0.1 in dev repository

I've justed issued version 0.2.9.0.1 after Google has released Firmware 1.25.90308 which fixes the problem. This is still GoogleCast's the beta channel, so if you upgrade to this dev version and are still on CC Firmware 1.24.88007, look at ChromeCast plugin settings and activate the option "Always unload CC application" to have the workaround still active.

Http command start music on wrong Chromecast audio

    Hi

I'm a bit unsure weather this is a Domoticz problem or if CastBridge is setup wrong

    Feature
To send music from a LMS server to a Chromecast Audio with the help of a Domoticz http command

    Setup
I have a Qnap NAS running LMS in a container. In LMS I have the plugin CastBridge. In Domoticz i have a dummy switch that send a http command. I have two Chromecast audio, the Domoticz switch is supposed to trigger LMS to send a song to one of them.

    Problem
Everything works except that the music is only played on one Chromecast device, even when i stated the IP adress for the "right" one.

I have followed this guide tutoriels.domotique-store.fr/content/54/95/fr/api-logitech-squeezebox-server-_-player-http.html and using this http command in Domticz (right now the MAC adress but tried with IP adress also):
    192.168.1.59:9000/status.html?p0=playlist&p1=play&p2=Bomb&player=54: 60:096:9B:40

In LMS i can choose any device and the music is played on correctly device. Any idea whats wrong? Ideally I would also like to send a command to play on both device.

Squeeze2cast communicates to ChromeCast but no sound

Hi Philippe - first off thanks so much for making this awesome plugin!

Seems like I need a bit of help getting Squeeze2cast to run.

I am running LMS on a windows 10 PC and all my music files are .mp3
I have 4 squeezebox, and LMS streams fine to them.

I installed squeeze2cast, followed the instructions, and was delighted when it connected to my chromecast (chromecast name shows up in the list of players on the right side of LMS GUI).

The problem I'm having is: When I choose music and send it to the chromecast, the screen on my TV shows the title, but no sound.
(I do get sound when i send videos to the chromecast from my phone.)

    Here is what happens:
    - I attempt to play one music file on the chromecast.
    - The name and album art of the song show up on the TV screen.
    - the LMS GUI shows the file playing (seconds elapsed keeps changing) but no sound comes from teh TV.
    - If I turn the volume of the chromecast up and down from the right hand side of the LMS GUI, I see the volume bar on the TV move instantly.
    - If I try to play a second music file, the chromecast does not know it (tv screen still shows the name of the first music file).

    Here is my log file.
    Thanks for any ideas!

Two things to take care of

1/ Make sure your Windows has a firewall rules for squeeze2cast.exe
2/ If the firmware of your CC is below 1.25 (you can see that in the google app), try to upgrade it (power cycle), otherwise go to the plugin settings and enable the firware 1.24 workaround (Always unload CC application)
