    Yes, whenever Pinkdot (or Synology fwiw) does release an updated package
    this would be part of it.

    7.9 Nightly working with latest iTunes Now?

    Do I read your post correctly - is it safe to update to the latest version of iTunes if I'm running the latest nightly build of 7.9?

    I was a little more conservative: I think I did find a workaround for
    the one issue I was able to reproduce. Unfortunately nobody has
    confirmed this so far.

    I have been following this thread b/c I have the same rescan problem after the iTunes 12.2.1 update. I tried the nightly build, and it did *not* fix the problem for me.

    I tried: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1437729381 @ Sat Jul 25 04:17:27 UTC 2015

    Looks like I may have spoken too soon. I played around with settings for a while after installing the nightly 7.9.0 and either screwed something up or forgot to restart the server. Regardless, the nightly referenced above is indeed working with iTunes 12.2.1.

    Sorry for the confusion. Looks like maybe this fix should be backported.

    Great, thanks for the confirmation! Yes, it was my plan to backport this
    change to the other versions as soon as we were positive about it's
    usefulness.

    I am running running OS 10.10.4 with iTunes 12.2.1 and Squeezebox Server 7.9 and none of my playlists are available on my Squeezebox Radio or Squeezebox Classic. What else can I try?

    Which 7.9 build? Try the latest and re-run a scan.

    I am running build 7.9.0 r1437985302

    I have re-scanned multiple times and nothing. I have even made a special xml file of my playlist and pointed to the folder it's in. I have never had to anything special like this for my playlists to appear If there are additional steps that are needed, if the steps are explained I'm not opposed to learning how to use more advanced options to get this all to work

    Ok, then we'll need a little more information:

    - what OS is your LMS running on? The machine where you run iTunes or
    something else?

    - turn on debugging for plugin.itunes, re-run a scan, then upload the
    resulting scanner.log to this thread

    Don't fiddle with the file or will no longer trust it :-).
