Hiya, I've recently upgraded to Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 LTS and found LMS not working. If you don't use a MySQL DB it will work fine, because it's complaining about the version of DBD::mysql.
Turns out the version of DBD::mysql supplied with Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 LTS is not compatible with LMS. I've tried 7.8.0 and 7.9.0 to no avail.
The only solution was to download and compile the correct version of DBD::mysql from CPAN here: https://metacpan.org/pod/release/CAP...b/DBD/mysql.pm
Do the classic perl Makefile.PL && make && make install.
Just thought I'd share it here in case anyone else is stumped.
