So - a new book, made myself comfortable in my favorite chair, turned on my Transporter and NOTHING! Dead as a doornail, no display, no sound.

Thanks to this post, I ordered a new power supply from Rapid Electronics on Sunday afternoon and received it today (Wednesday) in the US. Installed in minutes. Total cost with shipping $40.

Thanks again to everyone who made this possible.

    My transporter died too

I just looked and the fuse is fine. I ordered the new board today in the hope it is the issue. Keeping my fingers crossed. Right now the unit does not switch on at all (cannot hear relay) and I do not see it on my LAN. I hope it is not something bigger than the display board.

I am very happy to say the Rapid folks were quite Rapid. I got my PS and popped it in. I have a wonderful sounding Transporter once more. Now I regret not ordering another backup given that the shipping was 3X the price of the unit.
