Hi all

I've recently upgraded my server to Windows 7, and can't get flac2mp3 working again. The command line comes back with 'flac not found at C:\Program Files\flac2mp3\flac2mp3.pl line 193.

I've installed ActivePerl, WinLAME and FLAC, but it still doesn't work. Any advice welcome!

Both discs get the same album name, but discsubtitle contains the album title of each of the CDs - after scanning in LMS you'll find the two listed separately.

Hey there, good people.

So: I have been using mp3tag to sort out all of my tagging issues, as I didn't consider the importance of them when I first started ripping. LMS has successfully recognized all of the tagging changes except for the Year tag. I have checked the extended tags; there is nothing hiding there. I have emptied the cache and done a complete re-scan; this did not fix the problem. I have deleted the year tags entirely and done a full re-scan, and LMS still tells me that there is a year value present. I then added the correct year back on and did another full re-scan, and the original (incorrect) year was still there.

This is driving me a little bit bonkers. Can anyone suggest any fixes?

I am in the process of replacing my old media server (that run WHS, which was orphaned by Microsoft years ago) with a newer, faster one. In doing so, I am finding servers that "support wav format music" but cannot read wav tags.

This results in a large file of tracks that are listed alphabetically by file name and no album art (30K of them, in my case). Furthermore, these tracks cannot be played by LMS because (I am assuming) that the identifying information is invisible to it. In addition, the NAS folder system remains empty (except folder name).

I have been told by two of the manufacturer's tech support staff that their system only reads id3 tags and they are commonly found on flac, mp-3, and apple loss-less files.

Is there a work around for this? Can wav tags be converted, preferably in batch, to id-3? Are there NAS' that read wav files (including tags)?
