Worked fine. Today it can't be loaded. If i run the test on the triodos page:
- streaming from spotify is OK
- but i get a message "unable to test streaming to player as no player is connected"

In the Logitech Media Server (http://127.0.0.1:9000/settings/index.html?player=) i also get the message: you music system is not found... yesterday it was the same but it worked. not so today

In mysqueezebox.com the squueezebox is listed as the music system (it says: connected through (or by) 178.84.141.20)

I got error messages like 401 unauthorized and no connection... No idea what caused it. Tried everything, no success.

Then I read somewhere that the standard app is not working very good (it has never worked very good, i noticed that!...) and followed the advice to switch to the third party plugin (from triodos). I removed the standard spotify plug-in.

It did cost me some effort but it is working now :) And far and far better!: Much faster & much more songs and albums (no messages any more like "not available in your region")

Do more users share this experience? (its a logitech forum, i know ;))

And a question:

No real problem (it works!) but during the tedious labour to fix my squeezebox i noticed sometimes that the squeezebox WAS listed here as the player and once also by the name of Mozilla!???? Then it disappeared again, dont' know what causes it to appear or disappear!?

Is it a problem that the squeeezebox isn't listed here and why is it not!?

I still can't see why no one has brought out firmware to allow it to use UPNP, surely not that difficult to do?

This could happen if you had the settings page open in another window or

The app is no player. It's only a controller for your SB.

Factory reset of Touch
deleted duplicate at mysqueezebox.com
reloaded LMS on two different pcs (Nightly update) with deletion of previous install and registry clean (CC cleaner)
verified both pc firewalls have exceptions
turned off router firewall (Asus RT-66AC (or whatever the name is; AC version 1750 mbps)
tried both wireless and ethernet (note I have never gotten ethernet to work; wireless is the norm).

I run channel 11 due to neighbor interference causing dropouts.

System:
Desktop running Win7 Pro with Raid
Laptop running Win7 with USB HD
Latest LMS builds
Cable Modem - Router - Power Switch - long wire run - powered switch - Apple Extreme router (Access Point mode) - wireless to Touch (3 feet)

I am struggling with my Squeezebox Touch and WOL. According to what I read on the internet, is that at every turn on, it should send a Wake-on-LAN "Magic Packet" over the network, to turn the PC on which has Squeezebox Server running on it.

Using a laptop, connected to the same router as the SB Touch, I tried to send a magic packet using "Jimmy's Magic Packet". This works well.

One special: The router (TP-Link WR1043ND) connects wirelessly (bridge) to a Client (TP-Link WA801N). From there, a cable connects the PC running the SQ Server program.

I had expected the WOL-function not to work because of a setting in the router, but as the Magic Packet from my laptop turns on the PC, I would think the problem is that the SQ Touch either does not send the message, or it sends it to an incorrect MAC-address.

Anybody any idea?
