Hi,
haven't used my duet's for about a month ( i have 2, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs)
went to use it yesterday and nothing worked, reciever didn't play any music, controller didn't see the reciever.
At the same time i also had anew modem installed.

I factory restored the controller. it's taken over a day to get the reciever to have the dull white light.
Controller is connected to the new wifi (reciever is also wifi connected)

The LMS has had ssues, that it would not respond, this was uninstalled and reinstalled.
However since then the tabs for web interface and 'advanced settings' no longer work, the web address has to be manually entered to the web browser.
both the LMs and the web interface show no recievers connected.
The controller, LMS both show that the system is running, connected to the network.

playback of my own music (own media library) don't play.
and due to no connection to the LMS, the triode spotify app doesn't work either.

Losing my nerves so would appreciate any pointers.

first time i've really had issues,. out of the box setup was pretty straight forward.

cheers
Steve

I've been lurking around these parts for awhile but this is my first post- I'm sorry for the newbie question- my computer knowledge is lacking compared to most of you!

I have a squeezebox duet with 2 recievers- I also just aquired a pogoplug device. Is it possible to run an external hard drive through the pogoplug and use my squeezebox to listen to my music while my computer isn't running? I love the squeezebox setup I have but wished I could listen to my own music while my computer is powered down.

Thanks so much for your help- I'll think a happy thought for all of you!

I have an old Duet Receiver that I've used for years in a small room with powered computer speakers, and it works fine. But I've just moved it into a larger room, and tried plugging it into a (Sherwood) receiver/amplifier, using the RCA analog outputs, into the amp's CD inputs. Works okay as long as the SBR output volume is very low, but as soon as I goose it up a bit, the amp cuts out. It's as if the signal output from the SBR is too much for the amp's inputs. I've also tried the amp's AUX input with the same result.

Does anybody know the mV output levels the SBR is putting out? Am I missing something? As I said, the SBR works just fine with the analog audio coming out into a set of (Logitech) powered computer speakers. It seems as if there's a mismatch between what the SRB puts out and what the amp expects as CD or AUX input.

Any clues would be appreciated.

***Update***
This was NOT a problem with the output of the Duet Receiver. The problem was the speakers I was using. See below for details.

Is this correct? What's true?
