If I set up a MOG playlist on line, or get one and the result of a search on MOG, there is no way to clear it from The Radio or Duet Controller. If I scroll to the bottom of the playlist and select Clear Playlist I get the following error

This is a problem because MOG thinks the streaming is still happening even if I turn off the Squeezebox device, so I cannot use MOG on the other one. Is there a fix for thsi? MOG says Logitech wrote the app so it's their problem. Logitech says MOG wrote it so MOG should fix it.

Attempting to adjust playback levels from the Controller does nothing. This is what I want to happen. I don't want to adjust levels in the digital domain.

On My Squeezebox Radio, that I just got, this setting seems to do nothing. I can still adjust the volume from the Controller.

Overall, what do you recommend? Would it be better to replace the 3 TB drives with 4 TB drives? Any advice will be appreciated. In the hope I may get some further help with my issue (previously posted on the Logitech forums but without any luck so far) I'll post here... hope someone can help as I've got a useless Squeezebox Radio for streaming my MP3 collection at the moment...

"After a problem with my laptop (Windows 7) shutting down unexpectedly I am now unable to start LMS 7.7.2.
Each time I attempt to do it I get the error:

I've uninstalled it and attemped a re-install and even during both the uninstall and reinstall process the error appears."

A reply to my original request suggested:

"Please try a clean install of the Logitech Media Server:

1. Uninstall LMS from your computer.
2. Download LMS from the Mysqueezebox.com Downloads Page and save the file.
3. Access the System Configuration Utility and go to selective startup mode. (FAQ 228)
4. Install LMS from the file that you have previously saved.
5. Check the settings and verify that the are all working properly.
6. Restore your system. (FAQ 228)
7. Launch LMS and check to see if the issue persists"

which I have tried but I still get the same issue.

Be really grateful if anyone at all can suggest something.

Does anyone know if it is possible to install LMS on a chromebook running Ubuntu? I'm new to Linux and the Chromebook, I was hoping to run LMS from the Chromebook with a 1TB HDD plugged in rather than using my laptop as the server.

I have downloaded the LMS software from the Logitech website but when it installs I can't see it anywhere. I think it is only compatible with 64bit machines, but I'm not sure.

I have selected the logging stream profile in the advanced tab but when I view the log, the last entry is timed over an hour ago. If I view the log file at /var/log/squeezeboxserver it also is not up to date.

Is LMS caching up log entries before writing to the log file? Can I set it to write entries immediately?

I''m running LMS on a Raspberry. Everything works, except that one radio station, WFMT out of Chicago, plays back like chipmunks after the initial 'Welcome to the WFMT audio stream...) message. The message sounds normal.

In the right-side window, LMS displays '128kbps, CBR, Internet radio' during the message, then changes to 48k CBR for the actual programming and the chipmunks enter.

This sounds like a bitrate or codec issue. Oddly, if I sync Squeezeplug and my SBR, they both play, but in separate universes-- the SBR is playing normally and Sqeezeplug is the chattering chippies. Both start/stop, etc. in sync.

Any guidance is appreciated. I've just relocated after 35+ years in the Chicago area and really miss WFMT.

This can control and display track info for the current default music player app. Sadly the stock Logitech Squeezebox app doesn't support this, nor do the 3rd party controller apps I've tried. Does anybody know of some sort of in-between app I could use to get this to work? There must be someone in the same situation, or if you've got a Pebble and a Squeezebox but haven't thought of this yet - you're welcome. :)

Took out the wi-fi card, and it's still dead. Tried hooking it up to my router with ethernet and the light on the router didn't come on. It's not the power supply because I am using the one from my working SB2. The toslink light is on and if I darken the room, the thin horizontal wires on the display glow red. I couldn't find any common fixes for this thing other than a bad power supply or wi-fi card. haven't used my duet's for about a month ( i have 2, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs)
went to use it yesterday and nothing worked, reciever didn't play any music, controller didn't see the reciever.
At the same time i also had anew modem installed.

I factory restored the controller. it's taken over a day to get the reciever to have the dull white light.
Controller is connected to the new wifi (reciever is also wifi connected)

The LMS has had ssues, that it would not respond, this was uninstalled and reinstalled.
However since then the tabs for web interface and 'advanced settings' no longer work, the web address has to be manually entered to the web browser.
both the LMs and the web interface show no recievers connected.
The controller, LMS both show that the system is running, connected to the network.

playback of my own music (own media library) don't play.
and due to no connection to the LMS, the triode spotify app doesn't work either.

Losing my nerves so would appreciate any pointers.

first time i've really had issues,. out of the box setup was pretty straight forward.

I've moved the cache as recommended into the Public folder. I've also updated the firmware on the WD Live NAS.
Now the server is installed and running. It looks like the NAS itself won't enter standby. I've power meter on the mains supply so can validate that the unit powers form 9W to 4W prior to installing the squeezeserver software.

Of course I've enabled the energy saving option in the My book live web ui. I've installed one additional plugin, BBC IPlayer Radio . I've also disabled Twonky, and iTunes in the UI.

Can anybody tell me if:

a) the unit should successfully enter into the energy saving mode of the WD NAS without further adjustment?

b) Concerns are the latest WD firmware might in some way prevent this?

c) Would 7.8 software fix the issue?

d) If I stop the server to check the operation of standby mode using /etc/init.d/logitechmediaserver stop, would that negate all server activity such that the WD NAS will enter standby as prior to the installation ? I want to double check that the unit is still behaving correctly.
