AlienBBC 403 forbidden

Evening All,

Firstly, I've had my Squeezebox for about 6months now and I have to say
it's bloody marvellous.

I played with getting Alienstream working a while back and had no luck,
so with the new release of AlienBBC thought I would have a go, getting
at the Radio4 and 7 archives on the SB would be the icing on the cake...
I've installed mplayer, the codecs and AlienBBC.

I can start the transcoder from a shell with no errors, however when
trying to connect to http://<ip_address>:5123/status I get a 403
forbidden error back. The console shows the following... Any ideas??

Heya Ian.

You've got to read the instructions closely... but you're doing it wrong...

The url is: http:<ip address>:5123/Status/

Note the two differences with yours - a capital 'S', not a lower-case one,
and a trailing '/'.

(It's not a very smart web-server, and it values precision *grin*).

Give that a go, and let me know how you get on!
