Hi. I have a Squeezebox Duet. It is hooked up to a cabeled network. When i started up my (now sold) netbook i noticed that the Duet's receiver acts as a wireless accesspoint, but it seemed closed to me. How do i go about to find the key to this accesspoint so that i can use my Galaxy tab?

The Duet can operate in three different modes:

1) The Receiver and the Controller are both acting as wireless clients connected to your router.

2) The Receiver is connected to your router via Ethernet. The Controller connected wirelessly to your router.

3) The Receiver is a connected to your router via Ethernet. The Controller is wirelessly connected to your Receiver, which acts as a wireless access point, but only to serve your Controller.

I suspect you're in number 3. If you want to connect other wireless devices to your network, you should get yourself a wireless access point/router.

And you'd also be better off with your Controller connected via a separate access point, its battery life will be about twice as long as when you are using the Receiver's access point.

Thank you for clearing this up for me. I'm a n00b when it comes to routers and wireless connections.
