Hi there,
just now realized that PlayList Manager 5.4 does not work with Squeezeserver 7.6 (currently testing 7.6.0-32194, but several builds before were also definitely broken). Playlist manager buttons simply do not appear.
Here is the relevant excerpt from the Log:
0025: [11-03-30 16:55:52.4327] Slim::Utils::PluginManager::load (340) Warning: Couldn't call Plugins::PlaylistMan::Plugin->initPlugin: Undefined subroutine &Slim::Buttons::BrowseDB::getFunctions called at /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/PlaylistMan/Plugin.pm line 1160.
0024: [11-03-30 16:55:51.5445] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1212) Warning: [16:55:51.5434] "my" variable $playlist_id masks earlier declaration in same scope at /share/MD0_DATA/.SSODS4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Slim/Web/Pages/EditPlaylist.pm line 46.

I haven't updated the plugin to support 7.6 yet. I think it probably stopped working when the "onebrowser" branch was merged into the 7.6 nightly builds.
I'm not currently running 7.6. It's going through a lot of change, so I probably won't update the plugin at least until it stabilises and gets close to release.

Already thought so, but wanted to inform. Thanks for your good work anyway! Looking forward to a 7.6 version...

I'm working on it. A simple change gets it partially working, although someone tested it for me on a Controller and it didn't sound too positive, so I haven't released a version until I get chance to test it myself and make some more changes. Not much time available at the moment, but maybe this weekend.

Soon...
It's largely working for me now, but somethings broken with storing remote tracks (i.e. radio streams).
Woot! It's updated! Thanks Philip!

I guess I spoke too soon--I can't get it to install. When I check the box in the plugins tab and tell it to restart SbS, it never restarts. If I stop and start SbS manually, it doesn't install the plugin.
This is all I can find in the server log:
Plugins::PlaylistMan::Plugin->initPlugin: Undefined subroutine &Slim::Buttons::BrowseDB::getFunctions called at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/PlaylistMan/Plugin.pm line 1160.
Maybe has something to do with the \ turning into a / in that path?

It was a bug last week that prevented SBS to restart properly, it's fixed now it only affected Linux and NAS users, I think ?

I'm running on WHS, not Linux or NAS, but I'll try a newer nightly tomorrow. Shouldn't manually restarting after checking the box to install a plugin still work, though?
I installed it on ubuntu and it's totally gone from the plugin page...
Seems that Phil's page is currently down

This not my most used plugin, but when you need it it's great .
A situation like "this song must go into that playlist.."

Sorry, seems like my ISP's web hosting service has died. Some people did donwload and install fine yesterday, so nothing wrong with my deployment. Hopefully my ISP will fix the problem with their servers today (but it is a bank holiday).

Ditto, just had the same problem running WHS 1.1 and 7.6
