Hi
I have been away ages after a major hard disc crash. Just installed new SC but having problems locating plug-ins directory and in particular itunes updater and its half star facility c/o James Craig etc
So nice to be missed ;-)

Is this not on the plugins wiki any more?

many thanks indeed; reinstalled! Your plug-in is essential IMHO!!
two questions
1. Although my squeezebox displays the half stars; itunes 10.1.0 is not actually showing the halves; only full numbers ( i selected the half-star option and also direct updating). My installation is conventional nothing unusual.
2 A different issue, after my HD crash I lost the current files and had to restall from a back up but I seem to have lost my half star ratings. Only the full stars 1-5 reinstalled when I reloaded the database. Any idea what might be wrong? Are the half stars stored in the standard itunes database?
thanks
alex
That's strange, half-star ratings are core iTunes functionality as far as I know.
You could check in the backed up iTunes database xml to see if it has half-star ratings and start over with it?

regarding my issues, is anyone else having problems with half-stars recently in itunes?
also is it possible to preview the itunes xml database without reinstalling a whole new itunes?
