Just got my new Radio, great piece of kit so far, much smaller than I thought it would be!

I got the free accessory pack with it, probably won't use the battery until summer so was wondering if it's safe to leave the battery in all the time whilst on ac power or is it best to just put the battery in when needed?

It's best to install the battery right away, AFAIU. The Radio will try to maintain the battery optimally, while by not inserting it you'll risk damaging it by letting it run dry.

where did you buy it from? a free accessory pack has made it more interesting.

John Lewis in the UK are bundling a free accessory set at the moment. Also, Costco had the Radio at £83 when I was in there the other day.

Yup, JL online, they've sold out online but some stores still have them I think

I bought an accessory pack in John Lewis Nottingham at the weekend. They weren't on display but when I asked she said they had lots in stock

No wonder they had lots left if they don't display them!

The instore radio didn't mention anything about a free accessory pack either (but was £114)
