Hello,

Everytime my Squeezebox server restarts or reboots, I have to unplug the power of my Squeezebox Receiver, to make it register in the server.

Can this be solved ?

How is your server connected to the network?
How is your Receiver connected to the network?

I am guessing both are wireless, yes? If they are I would consider if possible wiring the server to the network, either that or you will keep doing what you are doing. Be thankful though, old versions of SBS you usually needed to restart everything (server, router, device) to get it to connect, sometimes more than once...

To fix this problem on the cheap I took an old PC, threw a big drive in and installed Ubuntu Linux. I then followed the wiki instructions to install SBS on it, and found all the help I needed in the Linux section of the forum.

Hello,

The server is connected on the LAN (wiredą and the squeezebox receiver and touch are used wireless.

The server is an Acer H340 WIndows homeserver

Try static ip addressing on all devices receiver and server and controller.

Note that reserving an ip in the router so it's gets the same ip is not static adressing it still uses the dhcp mechanism....
