.m3u playlists

I have a Squeezebox Duet and I'm running Squeezebox Server v7.5.1. I have exported a number of playlists from another application in .m3u format but Squeezecenter does not display the playlists. The playlists folder location has been set up correctly and the playlists are definitely in the folder and the content seems to be correct when I view them in a text editor. Squeezecenter and this other application (MediaMonkey) are sharing the same music database. Can anyone help me understand why Squeezecenter does not see these playlists. Thanks.

Did you re-scan?
If so, then save a playlist with the SB radio, or Touch, and then compare the format of your m3u to the one SB created and see if there are any differences.
