OK, I am forming a pressure group.
Anyone else who would like the Squeezebox to replace their expensive CD
player but hasn't done it because they still suffer from the occasional
audio drop out with lossless files please add your name to the CC field of
this bug:
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=230

Maybe it's not a bad idea for Slim Devices to turn on the voting
feature of bugzilla so we don't have to use the CC list for this
purpose. Shall I file an RFE in bugzilla? :)

I turned on voting for bugs in the Squeezebox and SlimServer products
on Bugzilla.
Let the voting begin.

Simon,
Client-side FLAC is on the drawing board, but I've been busy lately
with graphics. I will have more news on FLAC soon.
Thanks,
Sean

I notice that I have 1000 votes to squander,
and a fairly unconstrained search gives 230 bugs.
That means my I could vote for every bug you have.
Maybe 10 votes allowed would be better.
That said I'm keen on seeing flac become
the lingua franca of audio formats.

The Spanish threw their government out because:
(1) 90% were against the Iraq invasion in the first place.
(2) The reasons for the invasion turned out to be lies.
(3) The government responded to terror with more lies.
That's not capitulating to terrorists, it's punishing incompetence.
