If my Boom is connected to mysqueezecentre.com when I switch it off, then it displays the correct time: GMT + 1 for daylight saving time.

If my Boom is connected to my home network (Squeezecentre) when I switch it off, it displays the wrong time: GMT only.

Squeezecentre is running on my Netgear ReadyNas Duo, it works perfectly apart from displaying the wrong time. When I log into Squeezecentre from my laptop using RAIDar, Squeezecentre is set to GMT but there is no option for DST (daylight saving time).

How can I get the Boom to display the right time regardless of where it is connected, please? Any advice much appreciated.

Change the time on the NAS.

Well yes, but it seems the only way to get the Boom to display the correct time is to set the NAS to the wrong time??

I am in the UK, we are on British Summer Time (GMT + 1), so I have to set the NAS to Paris time to get it to display the extra hour. Surely there should be a DST option? Also, it seems necessary to reboot the NAS everytime you change the time to get the Boom to display the time set on the NAS.

A bit clunky IMHO. Apart from that, its fantastic!

There should be a way to set the correct TIMEZONE on the NAS. You may have to use WET (Western European Time), if you can't set GMT+Daylight Savings (as you would do for example on Windows). This a NAS operating system issue, rather than an SBS issue - SBS gets its time from the NAS OS.

This thread seems to confirm that you need to select WET not GMT+ when using the ReadyNas or it won't update for DS. The Boom only ever takes its time from the ReadyNas.
