support for international characters

Is SB touch able to display international characters, like Chinese and Japanese? What about the file names in Chinese or Japanese?

You can download SqueezePlay from the nightly builds. When you select Test > Text UTF8 you'll see a number of international character sets displayed by means of test so I expect support to be implemented for the touch at release.

There are some open bugs related to international characters, none of them is currently targeted to the initial Touch release (which is planned to be 7.5.0):
