Treat yourself to a Psion Wavefinder.
They do work - if you use Dabbar, Dabdig and the Radio Listing program i've
forgotten, you can schedule it to record all your favourite Radio 4 stuff
for later listening.

To my knowledge no-one has managed to port Alienstream to Windows. One of
the reasons for this is probably that there does not seem to be an available
windows port of recent Xine libraries (and the older ones will not work with
Alienstream it seems). I am toying with the idea of asking a friend to
compile the most recent ones (as i don't have the skills), but have no idea
how much work is involved for him (and I do not want to call in all my
favours at one time!).
Anyway, judging by how difficult it has been for some of the Linux folk to
get it working correctly I think Windows users may possibly be on a hiding
to nothing. Shame, as listening to the Radio 4 Listen Again archives via my
Squeezebox is a bit of a Holy Grail for me.
