Here are some pictures of the various clocks.
The pictures don't do it justice.
Ooooh. Any chance of a daylight map clock?

It's all possible.... as long as someone writes the applet :)

Yes, something like this will definitely come as a third party applet.
I have a semi working version on my development machine for the Information Screen applet announced in the third party plugins section of the forum. I just have to fix it so the maps aren't cached as long as album arts are on the Touch device.
I was thinking about using the images at die.net by default but letting it be a configuration parameter where the user can specify any image url he wants.

I'm not sure if it will be a problem that Information Screen requires a Squeezebox Server and doesn't work with SqueezeNetwork or TinySC since none of them support third party plugins. If this is a problem I might release it as a stand alone applet too.

Love that clock. It was in the Movie "Hunt For Red October". To bad it costs $1800, but it does show the grayline which can be handy. Just glad we have the Internet now, and I can look up the grayline on that.
x2 for the world clocks w/ and w/o clouds
Interesting with the clock feature. Would this work as a bedside clock? i.e. will the brightness dim automatically like the boom?

I would appreciate some feedback/ideas from everyone interested in this in the following thread:

It is supposed to have an automatic brightness sensor, yes.
