MP3 decoder

Is this device have same MP3 decoder as all "old" devices?
(based on MAD implementation)

Yes we still use the mad codec for mp3 playback. The new devices use ARM processors, so the actual implementation is different.

MAD running on an ARM should be better than the Ubicom-based devices. With the wider multiplier it would have full 24 bit precision.

To conclude, no more need to transcode MP3 on PC for full quality (I hope).
