I installed the Inguz plugin yesterday and the install seemed to go fine. I was running SC 7.2 and have a combination of purchased MP3's and my CD rips which are in wav format. Set the Inguz filters to adjust bass, mid and treble and played back some MP3 files and everything was fine. I then tried to playback some of my ripped wav files and a problem arose. No matter what track I select, playback always begins at the first track on the CD and will continue till the end of the CD unless I stop it. SC and the Transporter display both indicate the track number I selected but the system will always start at track 1. If I skip to the next track both the TP display and SC will advance but the first song on the CD starts over.

My CD's were rippied using EAC and each file resides in a serparate folder, along with the cue sheet and album art. I checked the SC settings tab and found that Inguz had changed the handling of wav files. The settings for wav files are now:

WAV FLAC flac
FLAC InguzDSP/flac
MP3 Disabled
WAV Native

If I change the options and disable the wav to flac conversion, the files play normally and I can select any track from a CD and it will play as expected but I assume I not able to use the DSP. I have always streamed wav natively since my TP is wired to the router and I have never had a bandwidth problem.

WAV FLAC Disabled
FLAC Disabled
MP3 Disabled
WAV Native

I installed SC 7.3 and reinstalled the plugin but I still see the same behavior. As I typed this I tried one more option. I set the handling of wav files to below and the problem is still present so this probably isn't a plugin problem but more likely related to the way SC is converting my files to flac.

WAV FLAC flac
FLAC Disabled
MP3 Disabled
WAV Native

I ripped my files almost two years ago so I don't really remember if I specified any options to EAC, as ripping was new to me and I just wanted to get it to work.

Does this make any sense? Can anyone offer any suggestions because I would really like to use the plugin. I an posting in the SC section because this seems to be more wav to flac conversion rather than plugin specific.

I believe that cuesheet handling may not yet be fully "tested" in Inguz...
To prove this, convert one of your wav albums to individual flac tracks

Phil, I'm not at home right now but I can look at my home network. When I did my ripping I did convert one CD to flac just to see if I could detect any difference in quality. When look in the folder, it is not individual tracks but one large flac file of 325 MB, a cue file and album art. A sample track has the following metadata:
Comment: ExactAudioCopy v0.99pb3
Track Number: 12
File Format: FLAC
Duration: 3:43
Bitrate: 872kbps VBR
Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz
File Length: 340,917,293

I can select any track and they behave correctly.

The SC advanced settings for flac files is below.
FLAC FLAC Native
FLAC flac/InguzDSP
MP3 Disabled
WAV flac
