I spend hours to setup the SB properly and then put all of my Favs in a row.
Everything was OK.

Then I shutted down the PC.
Turned on the SB again.
Message: SB can’t connect to SBC.
Of course not, cause’ the PC is off. I thought that was ok … . Isn’t it?!

and …

All of my Favs are GONE, except one …
They are still there in the SBC, the program, but: I can’t start them form there anymore, neither can I start ANY other station from the program.

What is this all about?
Can you please help?

Thanks very much!

The squeezebox must be connected to a server - either SqueezeNetwork or your SqueezeCenter. Since the favorites are actually stored on your SqueezeCenter, they should return when you restart SqueezeCenter and reconnect the squeezebox to it.

Does this mean ...

I have to have the PC turned on, when I want to use my Favs?
I bought that thing to keep it OFF :).

Is that the bitter :) truth?!

Thanks man!

If you don't want to play music stored on your PC - then keep SB connected to Squeezenetwork and save your favorites on your Squeezenetwork account.

If you don't want to leave your PC on, you can connect to SqueezeNetwork instead. You'll have to save your favorites to SqueezeNetwork using a similar procedure to what you did for SqueezeCenter. I think the tradeoffs between SqueezeCenter and SqueezeNetwork are documented in the Quick Start Guide that comes with the player, but I'm not sure.

I'd also suggest you go to http://wiki.slimdevices.com and do some reading, especially "Beginners Guide", "SqueezeCenter" and "SqueezeNetwork".

I just wanna listen to www radios.

So ...
I can CLOSE the SQUEEZECENTER, the PROGRAM I loaded down, is that right?
And then shut down too the SLIMSERVER on my SB, right?

I then will do all the editing ONLINE on the WEBpage?

Sorry guys, this is all so new for me ...

Thank you for beeing so patient.
THANKS :).

I see ...
I mixed the both of them up: "SqueezeCenter" and "SqueezeNetwork".
Too much SQUEEZING for me :).

Now I got it all done ONLINE in the NETWORK, ok.

How do I DISSCONNECT my SB from the SC then? So that I ONLY use the Network.
Is there an ERASE function in the box?

On the squeezebox, I think it's under Settings->Music Source
