Artist tags

Just curious ... if you don't want to display these uncommon artists, why include them in your MP3 tags at all?

Just venturing a guess but probably because one generally still
wants the correct artist tag to display while playing or searching.

I know I want the tags as complete as possible in my library. You
never know when you quickly want to find that one Elvis cover song
you have by the 'Butthole Surfers' :-).
