Software Update for Controller does not work with 7.3 on ReadyNAS

Hi,

I updated my ReadyNAS DUO with the 7.3 slimcenter. Afterwards I tried to update my controller. he showed me, there is a newer version: 7.3.r3476, but the update failed. I connected the music source from NAS to Squeezenetwork and could update to 7.2.r3191. Now everything works ok and I see e.g. the amazon store, one of the new features of 7.3 etc. But I cannot update the controller to 7.3.x. Any ideas?

Did you try turning off the controller, rebooting the ReadyNAS then turning on the controller? Also, sometimes I have to do a factory reset on the controller to get updates to work.

Yes, I tried rebboting, turning on, off, factory resets and all the computer science tricks to get a machine to normal operation.... Finally I solved the problem with a nasty workaround:

I installed SC 7.3 on a Windows machine, connected my controller to this machine as new music source and then the firmware update of the controller worked as expected. Then I reconnected to my NAS. Done

Which one of the 7.3 Software updates do we download for the Ready NAS, can't seem to get either to work.
