SqueezCenter wont start - stuck on "Starting"

Hi,
iv'e installed a fresh copy of SqueezeCenter (7.2.1) and when i try to run the application it is trying to connect without any luck with permanent "SqueezCenter Starting" message in the system tray also as a result i cant connect to localhost:9000
I'm working with Siemens router SL2-141 and i tried forwarding ports 9000 and 3483 from all IP's to 10.0.0.1 (my IP) buy still squeezcenter failed to connect.
Any ideas?im desperate
BTW where do i find the server log ( i cant find it)

I'm having the same problem. I have Squeezecenter installed on a server that automatically starts each morning and shuts down (via a simple cut to its power on a timer) each night. My problem is intermittent, though - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't ... I can't establish a pattern. Shutting Squeezecenter down manually and restarting it manually seems to work.
