andyg...heres my problem, I live in Canada atm, but I have an american sirius account. I have my region on my controller listed as the US, and also on my squeezebox account online. I have all my info for my sirius account entered on the website, but I still can't get it to come up on my controller. Is it b/c my ip address is from canada? Is there anyway around this problem so I can listen to my sirius on my Squeezebox?

ok, I was listening to sirius no problem, now on my accounts page on the squeeze network it is telling me that it has detected that I have listed my country wrong and now I can't listen to sirius on my duet anymore. What bunk. I spend 6 months a year in the US, and 6 in canada, and I can't listen to sirius just b/c I am in canada right now? This is crazy. Anyone know how to deal with this? Why can't Canada subscribers to sirius use it through their squeezebox? Also, I have an american sirius account so what gives?

Try my Sirius plugin instead... www.gregbrown.net.

It supports both US and Canada Sirius accounts and wont check where you're actually located. In your case you should configure it for US.

Sorry -- Sirius US and Sirius Canada are separate legal entities. sigh ....

yeah, but what would squeezebox care if I put in my setup info for them that I am residing in the US instead of canada.

I have downloaded and installed the plug in mentioned above, but now I get a msg saying maximum number of daily logins reached. Whats that mean? How do I fix that problem.

As I recall, that message actually means it doesn't know who you are (can't identify you as a Sirius customer). I use the plug in occasionally, but don't remember how to set up the username and password for Sirius. Did you go to the plugin page in the Squezecenter Setup, and see if the plugin has a settings screen?

I got it working, wierd, I am logged in and listening to sirius, but when I try to channel surf sometimes I still get the above msg. Oh well as long as it works
