Hi,
I am unable to connect to the Logitech Squeezebox. The Squeezebox cannot connect to the XP Pro computer (it can see it and tries to connect) and the Squeezecenter cannot see the squeezebox (Your Player has not found). This is regardless of whether the AVG firewall is on or not. Networking is fine (Ping Successful) as mentioned. I need to debug this problem ASAP. At present it is completely useless and my frustrations are increasing.
I have performed a factory reset and reconfigured the Squeezebox. I have tried re-installing the software >6 times including Beta versions. Currently 7.2.1

Having been working previously it makes no sense. No changes to the software config have been made. Furthermore the Squeezebox can connect to another PC Wirelessly, No problems

Help?!

You may want to contact support, they're often good at solving this kind of issue. But off the top of my head it sounds like a firewall issue (yes I know you said it's switched off!). Is the XP firewall on?

Thanks.
All Firewalls were switched off at the time. I've contacted Support who have suggested the same steps. They've gone quiet though since my last email.....

Hi

I have had major problems as well

but only when switching between 2 different PC
running SC.

Normally I'm using an old PC to run SC, but from
time to time I'm using my fast work PC for
testing purposes.

Some times when trying to switch back to my
normal SC PC again both the SBR and SBC has
more than a hard time doing this.

my 5c worth of input

All Sorted.....Nothing to do with firewall, config etc.
Reinstalled 7.2.1 for the umpteenth time. Now successfully connects to the laptop. Possibly a version conflict with another PC on the Wireless network.
I'd prefer a clearer explanation of the problem and its resolution but I'm just glad it's working again.
