If I install 7.3 and then want to reinstall 7.2.x, will this work or will the updated fimrware get in the way?

When you reinstall 7.2.x, you'll be told to hold down the brightness button on the remote to load the associated firmware.

Makes it a bit tough to go back a forth to compare.

I will try 7.3 in a week or so.

It only takes maybe 2 minutes to upgrade/downgrade the firmware. If you set it to automatically upgrade the firmware you don't even have to hold down any buttons.

Just realized this is the Duet forum... so, with a Duet there obviously is no brightness button (that's with SB/SB2/SB3 'Classics'). So it will automatically up/downgrade the firmware when change between 7.2.1 and 7.3.
