SC version 7.2

I am currently running SC 7.1.2. I was wondering if I would benefit from the latest software, 7.2; I really like to let sleeping dogs lie; last time I downloaded in July, It really screwed everything up. I lost plugins, etc. Am I missing anything important with 7.2? Thanks

One person's must-have is another person's so-what, but to help you decide for yourself why not check the release notes at http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Release_Notes. Don't bother with 7.2 at this stage -- if you upgrade you might as well go to 7.2.1, which is the current official release. My experience with 7.2 (and 7.3) has been good, but I'm used to running beta versions that might not be your cup of tea.

IMO, every new version of SC is more stable and feature rich than the previous. However, if you use a lot of 3rd party plugins you will need to do some work to check for latest versions and make sure they are updated yet. Hopefully this process will be a little easier in 7.3+ with the new plugin manager.

ok I downloaded and all is well. I had none of the problems that I encountered the last time. I am looking forward to 7.3 with the plugin manager.

Glad to hear it went well. Don't forget that with 7.3 you'll also get a free SB player: your existing SB Controller becomes a portable player!
