Hi,
This is a follow on to my previous post "Squeezebox Duet Receiver - Also Dead" but more specifically about the UDAP tools.
I have installed the UDAP tools on my Linux laptop and can issue the "discover" command successfully over ethernet network. I have a packet sniffer installed and can see the communication go out over the wire (UDP/17784).
The Squeezebox Receiver immediately responds (that's good news). The response is sent from address 0.0.0.0 and broadcast on address 255.255.255.255. The content of the response is along the lines of "}init squeezebox".
The problem is that when I issue the "list" command from UDAP no device is listed and hence I can't continue with configuration.
Any suggestions appreciated. Does UDAP only work with certain versions of the Receiver software, if so, which version and where can I get hold of it?
Thanks for any pointers
Mike
