Hi,
Duet Receiver is connected to Ethernet. Duet contoller is in the peer-to-peer mode w/controller. PC on the same sub-net as a receiver is running Squeezecenter.

Problem:
1. When PC is shutdown I would expect contoller to maintain network connection with receiver and give my ability to change music source to Squeezenetwork directly

2. this does not happen. When PC is off, WiFi indicator on both devices is BLUE and I can't connect to any other source.

Question:
Why? I should be able to just select music source other then SquezeCenter on the PC which is no longer running.

Thanks

The Controller does not directly communicate with the Receiver - even when in Bridge mode. The controller 'controls' the receiver indirectly either through the SqueezeCenter software running on a local PC or the SqueezeNetwork running in the Internet.

The blue light indicates exactly the condition you created. The controller has successfully connected to receiver's WiFi bridging function (providing the controller the ability to communicate on your home network and Internet) but no actual 'connection' has been made between the Controller and either a)SqueezeCenter which isn't running in your example or b)SqueezeNetwork which you likely don't have your controller currently configured for.
