Yep. I'm tired of hooking up my laptop to my stereo every day, and chasing
my 2 year old away from the cables, when I have an otherwise perfectly
working SB. I just built the latest released version of the Xine libs
today, so unless there is a fix in the cvs tree, that's not going to work
out.

I was about to start installing version 2, to see if I had luck with that,
and thought I'd check my email first for suggestions on V3. Just
downloaded RP installer. I'm currently "between jobs", so maybe I'll try
it tomorrow. Since I have SB, I'd also like to try and tweak the Perl to
stream the WAV to the player, instead of converting that to mp3.

That would be ideal. If you have contact info and think it will work, I'm
all for it. But I've long ago given up on having support people listen to
suggestions, let alone act on them. I recently notified an online retailer
that a product I bought from them didn't have normally expected features,
and they might want to note that on the product description. I was told
that the product description was the manufacturers, and that they would
not change it. Ah, finely honed pessimism...
