I see several strange behaviors with the Boom. It might just be me not understanding how things work, but...
1. Favorites show up twice in the list. I think this might have something to do with assigning them to one of the six preset buttons. The docs say that assigning to a button will add an item to favorites unless it already exists, so perhaps the duplication check is at fault.
2. Pressing one of the defaults shifts to the station, but doesn't do the logical thing (to me) on the display. With the prefs set the way I chose, the display eventually goes to "Now playing" but pushing the back button shows the machine in the state it was before making the selection. So, for example, if I was dialed to a different favorite (but hadn't selected it) this will still be the display. It would seem to make more sense to treat the button the same as what would happen if the favorite had been selected from the menu.
3. Squeezenetwork options for now playing say "show buffer fullness", but this seems to translate into "show clock" on the boom itself.
Not so much a bug, but I can't understand the logic of the podcasts. If I subscribe to a feed I may see several podcasts, but there is no logical way to determine which might be the new ones and/or which I've already played. I realize that this is more a function of how the distributor codes things, but the PC based programs have logic to sort by date and already played, etc. Perhaps using Squeezecenter this is possible, but I'm staying away from that since I don't have local files I want to hear (again and again and again...)
I also don't understand the news feeds feature. If I select, say the BBC, I see a half dozen as I scroll up and down, but if I pick this choice I only see one of them over and over again. Is there a way to have the display cycle through all of them?
