Delay between synched Squeezebox and SB Boom?

I just got and connected my SB Boom, and synched it up with my Squeezebox. There's a delay in music between the SB Boom (ahead) and my old Squeezebox. Oddly enough, my Squeezebox is closer to my wireless router than my SB Boom.

They are close enough that I can't have the lack of perfect synchronization (loft apartment).

Can anyone help?

Thank you!!! I love the SB Boom, but if I can't get them to sync properly it's kind of useless for my purposes.

SB1 or SB2/3? What kind of content are you syncing?

I think its the first Squeezebox. I'm trying to sync it with the music on my hard drive through my Squeeze Center.

SB1 doesn't sync quite as well as newer players, Alan can provide more
details. You could also enable the player.sync debug setting and
watch how they are doing.

If you open the web interface (e.g. http://yourServerAddress:9000/) and go to SqueezeCenter Settings > Advanced > Logging, you'll see several categories whose logging level you can change, and hyperlinks for viewing the log file.
