Is there a way to set/review/edit the alarms via a web browser?

Also, is there some sort of API so I could write an app to automatically check my on-line calendar and set alarms based on entries there?

Sure - assuming you are on your local network - navigate to the Squeezecenter web interface at

http://<ip of SC here>:9000

Select Settings/Player/Alarm Clock

This is exactly what I'm looking for...did you get anywhere with it?
Is anyone else out there looking to create such a plugin?
