Hi folks,
yeah, yeah ... another SliMP3 emulator. I've made one for KDE on Linux.
It is licensed under the GPL. Please download the source code from
http://kslimp3.sourceforge.net/
KSliMP3 uses the keyboard for navigation (e.g. the arrow keys are like
the arrow keys on the SliMP3 remote control). The font size is
configurable in 4 sizes. Also the color of the display can be changed to
your liking.
Music is played just fine and the time display should be relatively
accurate.
Some things still need improvement, like key press/hold is not
implemented yet. Also the robustness on defective MP3 files can use some
work.

PS: I have already a prototype of a "Panel Applet". So the SliMP3
emulator run as an applet on the taskbar. Really cool as it does not
clutter up your work area. I'll release it as soon as it is reasonably
stable.
