Any Boom's spotted in Belgium

I'm off to Belgium this w/end for the F1 GP.
I'm actually staying in Aachen in Germany as there were no hotels anywhere near the circuit or Liege with rooms available.

I'm wondering where the best place to buy a Boom would be. Logitech want €30 to ship to Ireland, so I'll be buying from a retailer rather then online.

I'll have some free time to explore Aachen and possibly Liege on Saturday. I might also have an hour or two free on Sunday in Brussels after the GP ends, but it could be quite late before I drive there from Spa.

What big electrical retailers are there in Belgium?
I'm assuming that 3 pin plugs & 220-240v is the standard over there.

gravis is a apple retailer in germany. they also sell squeezeboxes and theres a shop in aachen.

I think plugs are different in Belgium and Germany and not the same as UK/Irl.

Plugs in Belgium = 2 pin (same as in Germany).

I haven't seen any SBB in Brussels yet. I have orderd it through logitech.be but they don't have any stock yet.

In Spa you won't find anything there. Maybe at the FNAC store in Liège: Rue Joffre, 3, 4000 Liège (open 9h30 to 18h30). But I wouldn't dream of it.

Thanks, looks like I have a few options.

Maybe someone who was in the the beta can tell me what sort of adapter the retail package contains. If it's like the SBC cradle, then it's adaptable for almost any regions sockets.

I can't speak for the retail version, and almost all the beta versions used 18 V power supplies.

But it was a universal voltage adapter that came with the appropriate clip-in prong pins. Just like the SBC cradle.

I would be very surprised if the retail version was any different. Yes, the retail version will be 12 V.

you could also try komplett.ie when they have it in stock. They've pretty competitive pricing & S&H usually isn't too bad.

I had looked on Komplett and hadn't found the product listing.

Anyhow, tried the Gravis store in Aachen and even though they had Logitech products, none of then were Squeeze related.

I also found a huge Saturn store which had 1 Duet sitting on the shelf.
No Booms.

So I'll need to wait for them to appear in Harvey Normans or Currys. I won't be paying an additional €30 for delivery.
